I'm having an issue installing Youcam on my m11xR1. I was successfully able to download the package from Dell, but when I try to install it, I get an error message saying that it requires components from "Windows Media Player 11 or higher."
I am currently running Windows 7 64bit pro. It comes with WMP 12. I checked windows update, but have no pending updates.
Has anyone else run into this issue and if so have you had any luck getting it installed?
I tried running the installer in vista and xp compatability modes but didn't have any luck.

Since this is a Cyberlink/Youcam issue and not an M11x one, you'll probably have a better response on their forums CyberLink Community Forum - Join the Community or contact their support directly.

i just reformatted my M11x after receiving my ssd, and now I can't download the webcam software from Dell because I can't get pass the registration part even though I used IE. Anyways, short end of it is: So is this Cyberlink/Youcam software the same one that originally came with our lappie, and if so can you guys link me?
