So I hate that toaster.exe and dsupdate.exe or whatever it's called starts up with Windows slowing my boot times. I was wondering whether it's okay to uninstall Dell Datasafe Local Backup.

I don't backup anything with it. I am just worried that if I uninstall it I won't be able to boot into it later on to get back to the factory install..

Can anyone verify whether uninstalling Dell Datasafe will remove, or not remove the factory restore part when I boot?

    boot > f8 > factory restore

I have a new Dell laptop with Dell Datasafe that I tried to remove-It errored out and now when I login an error message pops up each time. I followed a Microsoft engineers instructions on how to disable it but this files he had listed were not on my pc. I spent a couple of hours looking for an answer but all I found was users with the same issue.
Finally someone had listed a free program that completed the uninstall. I am careful what I install on my pc especially of a program that I never heard of but this works. Download Revo uninstaller and it does the job.
