Got this in email today says $89 off m11x. When I click on the link for the sale the base price is now $968 instead of ($1087). You still get 10% off = $97 off. Final price is $871 before tax and shipping. You can still apply the $50 EPP sign up coupon which will cancel tax. Not bad for the setup.

Base setup is SU4100, 4G ram, 250GB HD, BT module

Yea, I mentioned it in the Ordering advice thread and the Order status thread, but might be easier to just do a new thread. I also had a screen shot. Anyone looking to buy the M11x, now is the time to do it.

Does the $100 off coupon from Alienware Arena stack with this? If not, I think that's probably still the best deal going.

The base price is normally $799 with the SU4100, and then 4gb ram and the 250gb hd are $50 each. $100 off coupon cancels those out, so you're left with an optional $20 off for bluetooth.

$800 (or $820 with bluetooth) vs. $871 unless I'm missing something.

do you have a link. when I goto the m11 epp website the base price is around 1100+ and it ends up being over 1000 with the 10% epp discount? It's upgraded though and doesn't let you get the lower cpu etc

here is the direct link to the deal.

I just did comparison. Dell jacked up the base price from $919 for the same setup if u were to go through dell home to $968 (that's with what they claimed is the $89 off). Very deceiving. You can still get 10% off EPP and $50 from EPP coupon. Thurns out to be $968 - 10% - $50 = $821. Same as going through Dell home with $100 off from alienware arena. Classic Dell :).

wait so I could have added the $100 alien arena off to this and then upgraded to the better cpu and more for the same price...rage...building...

EDIT: did the math and the deal was not as good as expected. all the discounts seem pretty similar I think.
