So I just got my new m11x r2 in the mail after my initial m11x r2 had physical damage. However, when I got my new system in the mail, the package didn't include a return shipping label for my old m11x r2.

    Did they forget and now I have 2 m11x R2s? :D :D

You'll be charged for the one that needs to be returned if you don't send it back.

You'll know soon enough, because Dell will attempt to call you to remind you to send it back. The longer you ignore them, the more often they call.

If you don't get any calls at all (ie., your return has fallen through the Dell cracks), then consider it a gift. If they wind up charging you (how can they without proper CC and security code info?) you can always dispute the charge and then contact Dell to send you a return label.

Plenty of people wind up with "spares" due to not returning parts to Dell (when, of course, Dell forgets to ask for them back!).

But, I assume you'll be hearing from Dell.

I'm pretty sure dell has my CC info as I initially ordered it with a CC. Anyway, who do I get in contact with to get the shipping label?

Dell does not store your CC info, especially the security code.

Contact tech support, give them your original SVC TAG or case number and ask them to email you a prepaid shipping label.

I've replaced the palm rest that connects to my speaker lights TWICE, and both times I've gotten to keep them lol.

Well I'm on the phone now and getting a prepaid label e-mailed to me.

Even though my new m11x r2 is cleaner looking, I sort of had an emotional attachment to my first one, even if it was a little damaged. I'm sad to see it go, and my new one can't replace my old one :(. Okay now I'm not that soft, but still haha

Your M11x's are kind of like The Stepford Wives...all built to please, and you may prefer one over the other, but in the end, they're all electronic bits. :D
