    Taiphoon Burner vs. SPD Tool.
    Do these do the same thing or am I not reading it correctly? Has anyone used this. Does the SPDtool allow for the changing of RAM speed to CAS7 for better chance at Overclocks?

    Sorry for the ignorant question haha. Just trying to learn :)

    I doubt that "SPD Tool" supports Windows 7 (was posted in 2006) or 64-bit like Taiphoon Burner (paid edition) but it looks like the concept is the same.

    Says "Digital Signature added to improve support for 64-bit Operating Systems" in one of the updates.

    Edit: Either way I do not think it works with the m11x. When opening it says: "No memory modules found. Incompatible SMBus Driver"
