    So it's a simple question:

    What are the gaming benefits I would get out of ordering an M15X with this setup:

    * Alienware M15x Laptop
    * Processor: Intel Core i3-370M Processor (3M cache, 2.40 GHz)
    * Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium
    * 250 GB SATA II Hard Drive (7200 RPM)
    * 4 GB DDR3 SDRAM 1333MHz (2 DIMMs)
    * 8X DVD +/- RW Drive
    * 1 GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730

    Compared to this M11X setup:
    PROCESSOR:
    Overclockable Intel® Core™2 Duo SU7300 1.3GHz (3MB Cache)
    VIDEO CARD1GB NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 335M

    VIDEO CARD
    1GB NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 335M

    4GB Memory

    And a 250GB SATAII 7,200RPM

    I know the M11X is meant for traveling purposes and for students and that the M11X is lighter and has a better battery life but I mainly want to know what is the gaming difference between the 2? Will the M15X be able to play games better? If so, by a lot or..?

    Thanks! :p

    Here's a simple answer:
    Ask yourself what you want out of a laptop. If the word "portable" isn't one of the first words out of your mouth, don't buy the Alienware M11x.
