Dirt 3

Dirt 3 rocks just been playing for the past 3 hours my temps dont pass over 60 and its so awesome connected with a ps3 controller through bluetooth :] first game im addictive lately u guys should get it!

 

Please can you help me get my PS3 controller connected to my R3 so that I can play Fifa through my tv been trying for ages and cant seem to get it to work.

@Yiddo I am pretty sure what OP did was use a program called MotioninJoy | Playstation 3|Xbox 360|Dualshock 3|Sixaxis|Game|Driver| to make the game think that the PS3 controller was an XBOX 360 Controller.

I have used this program on my PS3 controller (Wired,not bluetooth) and got it to work. While the website suggests buying a dongle bluetooth,I guess it should work with the native M11X one (Didn't get that on mine,should work though)

Okay sorry for the late reply Playstation 3 controller(Dualshcok 3 or Sixaxis) driver for windows | MotioninJoy download the newest version Version 0.7.0000(testing) its both for x32 and x64 also if u have a bluetooth mouse with motionjoy u cannot use it anymore idk why it does that but it did to mine whatever version i use so i rather use a ps3 controller then my bluetooth mouse but Connect a PS3 bluetooth controller to PC - YouTube
use same setting as this guy load the drivers before anything and ontop it says connect bluetooth after that ur ready to go i connected my alienware with a ps3 bluetooth works great also it will act like ur bluetooth is off but its still connected

 

it doesn't detect any other bluetooth devices when you install the bluetooth motioninjoy device, that is due to the driver from motioninjoy, which basically makes the controller think its a ps3 it is connecting to... it has something to do with the way ps3 and the controller authenticate each other, the reason why you can't connect ps3 controller over bluetooth like magic.

sony just being arses like usual with being over protective for no reason.

 

Although something very important,take note! If you plan to buy an XBOX 360 Wireless for PC Controller and already installed MotioninJoy you are quite screwed. It overrides Microsoft Driver every time you try to install the drivers of the XBOX 360 one (Therefore you can't use it) and only through miraculous ways did I manage to fix this problem when I tried using my XBOX 360 Wireless for PC.

 

i thought mootioninjoy only does bluetooth drivers and xbox controller uses the stupid 2.4Ghz band thing like all the crap mice and keyboards that need an usb slot for a dongle to use them? also i'd just use one of those 2$ bluetooth dongles for the ps3 controller, as motionin joy loads drivers just for a single USB/Bluetooth device.
