Is there any way to disable the touchpad? I use a mouse 99% of the time and when I rest my hands on the KB to type I usually wind up grazing the TP and sending the cursor off somewhere and it's annoying.

Install the Synaptics Driver and there is an option to disable the touchpad when mouse is plugged in.
