The Witcher II is 40% off on Steam today. Last I heard is that it was murdering M11x R2s, but that was a while ago. Is it still performing poorly on the M11x R2 or has a patch/mod fixed this?

Some people have it working ontheir R2s. It absolutely murders mine though :(

It was working fairly well on mine until patch 2.0. Sadly since then it has become the definition of unplayable...

    I got you:
First, OC your CPU and GPU (Use throttlestop on your r2) A reccomended GPU OC is 550/1350/875. next, (you can use game booster but I prefer this) go to start and select SHUT DOWN, wait untill the screen greys out as it closes your applications and quickly hit the CANCEL button. (To give yourself more time open a few programs first). THis kills almost anything that uses a cpu process. Next open the game and then bring up task manager, set TW2 to ABOVE NORMAL priority in the processes tab. Try that and call me in the morning lol. (Oh and it goes without saying lowest settings except textures, you can leave those on high) I do this and was getting ~27 fps playing in the Arena with the newest update on my r1.

Honestly I think skyrim may be the better choice. Although they are both fun games, Skyrim runs nice and smooth on the m11x even at the higher settings. Where The Witcher 2 will only run smoothly on my i7 R3 if I turn all the graphics settings down to nearly nothing.

Also I think I like skyrim more than the witcher 2 :x
