With the info out now you think the m11x can handle it
-
It will, the question is at what settings xD
-
If they really are using a brand new engine as they claim, I'd predict that the r2 will run the game on medium settings with tessellation and object detail on low.
-
I have the r1 -

@All - As with my experience with Tessellation, the 5850 overclocked to above 5870 levels can BARELY handle TESS on low levels... So.. the 335m GT will "probably" be able to play the game at low to medium levels, no DX11 features (since the card is not dx11) and no AA or AF. It really boils down to cpu requirements if the R1 or R2 is better suited.
My personal opinion is that TESS is a Nvidia "sales tactic" that will hopefully go away soon in favor of something that makes a greater impact in game play, feel and immersion... Again.. just my opinion.
Take Care,

I see who really knows i guess I'll wait for official specs to be released
-
supposedly the requirements are as such
The Elder Scrolls V
PREDICTED System Requirements*
Intel Processor - Celeron E3300 Dual-Core 2.5GHz
AMD Processor - Athlon II X2 240
Nvidia Graphics Card - GeForce GT 420
ATI Graphics Card - Radeon HD 5670 512MB
RAM (Memory) - 4 GB
Hard Disk Space - 10 GB
Direct X - 9
it lets you put in what specs your pc has and when i entered in an i5 m11x 4gb ram it said not for you buddy lols
who knows, could just be speculation and nothing to worry about...
The Elder Scrolls V System Requirements - PC Game The Elder Scrolls V requirements where i found this thinger (the input system is weird)
edit: found this little bugger there too - * Predicted System requirements are based on recommended system requirements.... idk if that changes anything though -
And taking in point that its a console game i can conclude that it will run on high settings. How 5 years old hardware could possibly make such load that will kneel our laptop? lolly... -
The benefit to the mass of console games / ports is that game developers are tied to lower hardware requirements if they want to develop cross-platform games.
The Xbox360 is a 5-year old console, which came out when Athlon 64's, Pentium 4's, ATI Radeon 19xx's, and GeForce 8800GTX's were the absolute best hardware you could buy. An M11x can easily play any game made for that generation of hardware. You might need to forego a lot of the super-high-quality image settings (like dynamic shadows), but I am confident that the game will run fine on at least medium settings at native res. -
ES4: Oblivion was the first Elder Scrolls game I played. That got me hooked, I'm hoping we can play ES5 on both the R1 and R2. I think I may need to do a clean install of Oblivion though, it crashes constantly. I modded it like crazy.
I'm still running twin 8800 GTS cards in SLI mode in my family's desktop machine. It's exactly what kent1146 described: Athlon64, dual core. Venerable system, handles almost any game I've tried since I built it.Although, the newest game I have is Splinter Cell Convictions, and that came out last year.

I'll be happy if it can play on medium settings with some things low and off. If not, Xbox it is then :\

New pics. Landscape looks gorgeous
-
Eh, it'll probably stutter every 5-10 seconds just to load the next bit of area. Well, unless Bethesda has actually created a new engine and not just Gamebryo 2.0.
-
-
We'll all just have to wait and see how the m11x can handle the Creation Engine. I'm too excited about the new engine and story.
-
I predict the view distance will have a lot to do with the quality of your gameplay. If you scale the view distance back, you may be able to get some decent framerates. On top of that the M11x has a lot of things going for it... specifically that its native resolution is low.
-
Im' sure that there will be mods out that will remove minor things that are nice to have but don't really effect how the game plays at all. Like Low Poly Grass or the removal of small rocks that grant a nice FPS increase.

Might actually start saving up and build myself a computer just for this game actually.

New engine. Any predicted system requirements mean absolutely zilch to anyone who hasn't actually tested hardware on a game using this engine, and at this point, no one outside Bethesda has done that.
This game's performance and scalability down to m11x's speeds is certainly possible, but there's no way to know right now.
