Air = Overpriced for the specs... M11x = Perfect Price Point for form factor and specs.

I agree. The only other contender in my eyes is the Envy. I just hate the trackpad and am not a fan of HP's bloatware.

I almost bought an Envy.. The microsoft store had it on sale for 799.00 and was close to pulling that trigger but then the R1 went on sale for 549.00 and that quickly made the decision for me.

Envy 14 is second right now. It's definitely should be behind

Yeah, I agree. The Envy 14 must be getting more votes, because of better brand recognition from Monster Beats.

The Envy 14 is a nice laptop, but it wasn't anywhere nearly as revolutionary as the Alienware M11x.

In all fairness, the MacBook Air is a pretty sweet laptop.

And in all fairness, nobody buys the MacBook Air for the hardware specs. Just like nobody buys the Alienware M11x for the hardware specs. You can buy smaller laptops. You can buy more powerful laptops. But you cannot buy smaller, more powerful laptops than the MacBook Air or the Alienware M11x. And if you're already used to Mac OS X, it makes total sense to keep buying laptops running an OS that you're already used to using.

For me personally, an Alienware M11x makes total sense. But I can absolutely understand the appeal of a MacBook Air, even if it is not the right laptop for me.

Now that's out of the way, everyone vote for the M11x so we can beat that overpriced-hipster-Apple-piece-of-junk MacBook Air.
