So, I have a friend who's wanting to buy my m11x r1 from me, but I said I'd get back to him with a price in the near future.

But I have no idea what would be a fair price to sell it.
Could anyone give a fair estimate based on the specs and misc info below?

    Here are the specs.
Alienware M11x R1, has the new hinges, not the universal faulty one.
    Intel SU7300 1.3Ghz processor
    4gb ram
    Nvidia Geforce 335m card.
    250gb Sata drive.

No warranty, and I can throw in Dead Space 1-2 + Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.

I got $500 just today for my R1 4/320 with 150 days of warranty left in near mint condition. I think it was fair.

Yeah if you can get it up to 2Ghz would look very nice and also sell well on ebay.

When I sell mine i'll be asking for a premium as it clocks so highly.

I just bought one with the same basic specs (except the hard-drive) in like-new condition with 6+ months still on the warranty plus full MS Office suite etc. The guy I got mine from was asking $600 and I did a partial trade so I figure I ended up getting it for about $500 in cash/trade value. Most R1's I've seen on Craigslist have been advertised in the $600-$700 range.

Imo people on craigslist tend to think their stuff is either worth more than it actually is, or worth nothing so they give it away for free. :D

True that. I was watching prices pretty closely though and I think I got a good deal but not an insane deal.
