    External status lights?

    Are there external status lights that show if the laptop is sleeping when the lid is closed? Or do you not know until you open the m11x and see whether it goes into windows or just stays off?

    And I haven't played with the power settings, but the default is for the laptop to go into sleep mode when closed correct?

    When it is sleeping, the alienhead logo on the inside will glow on and off. Otherwise it is shut off.

    But the alienhead logo on the outside will not be doing anything either way correct? So when the lid is closed you can't tell? Just checking, it doesnt really matter to me but I wanted to be sure I'm not missing any lights that show up lol

    Right, mine only shows in the inside; the outer light is off even in sleep mode.

    The outer light is illuminated by the backlight for the screen, hence why if the screen if off, so is the logo
