Anyone else experiencing a slight griding sound when their fan comes to a stop? It's quite annoying in class if it spins up for a minute, and then stops.

It could be the tape seal(s) surrounding the fan is has come off a bit and the fan blades are hitting it.

Just contact support and have them replace the fan. No reason to sit with a rattling fan. Fans have issues from time to time - its not a design flaw or anything you can resolve on your own. The 11x fan is tough to get at due to its location and mounting - Give them a call :)
