So Alienware now has a fast track m11x option which they say is delivered in as little as 48 hours
Alienware Fast Track
i5 520um
4 GB Ram DDR-III
250 GB 7200 RPM HDD
-
Pre-built single configuration systems similar to what thay do when they make their system available to Stores.
-
I just ordered one, confirmed Fast Track with phone rep and should be here Wednesday. I was debating the i5 or i7 , this kinda made up my mind for me as all other specs were the same...
-
^ nice.. so I guess you'll be providing us with some benchmarks =)

Awesomeness. I too am looking foward to benchmarks with the new proc's
-
FastTrack only for i5. Here is the full spec.
I think it's a bit expensive. Dell usually charge premium for harddrive. I guess if that's what you want and don't care about name plate, then it should be okay. The coupon should works the same also(I'm guessing). -
It worked. 844(before tax) with all the discounts. Not bad.
It's cheaper than the SU7300 model that best buy is selling. -
Mmmm 90w AC adapter... The R1 comes with 65w...
-
This topic has already been discussed in detail in other thread, I guess you just doesn't want to dig into over 50 pages of M11xR2 discussion.
-
Do you think i could upgrade my order to fastrack to get it earlier? I hate having to wait a month for mine.
-
bah nm i see its only for that set config. lame hehe
-
I can careless about being the kid of that block who get it first. So I'm gonna stick to the order.
-
Nah i just wanted it before i go on vacation is all. Otherwise it don't really matter.
-
Got one for $728 after 21% discount and $100 off, after tax and shipping it was $800. The dude only said he could put on ground shipping and not next day which was annoying, where does dell ship this systems from? I live in Florida so I was wondering if ground shipping if it is shipped out tomorrow (fast track says they usually ship out next business day) if I could recieve this week
-
How do you get a 21% discount and $100 off?
That would help a lot. -
Discussing it here isn't a good idea. It's not 100% legitimate, and you're effectively defrauding the company by trying to get it.
-
The 21% is basically an EPP discount. And it's offered to employee of certain company that have a deal with Dell. Say company XXX buy/lease large amount of computer from Dell, so in return Dell give discount to the company XXX's employee. Even w/o the EPP discount, there usually will be $50-$100 coupon discount from time to time anyway. But yes, 21% is very rare, and even most EPP legitimate members only get around 10%.
-
21% was Boeing employee, family friends and retirees discount (or something along those lines) that was floating around the forums in the form of a coupon code
Boeing discount is usually 16% btw, so if you can know someone working there you should get it through that person.
-
/facepalm
I really hope you or a family member work for Boeing... it was easy enough ordering online with Boeing's discount but now to call in to get it sucks, I don't prefer that method. And I'm a legit family member.. -
Did the Boeing disount go up? I have a cousin that works for them and when I ordered the M17xR2 was told the discount for Boeing was 16%.
-
yeah it's currently 16% normally which I have a coupon for. There's a coupon for 21% also I think expires tomorrow. There was a Christmas 21% off coupon that may not have expired yet either, I used this back in February when I ordered my M11x. But none are listed on the Boeing EPP, I just saved them.
-
Ahh, gotcha. knew there was something I was missing. Thanks!
-
We need some benhmarks on the R2.
I seen the ones on the DELL/AW site and it seemed like he was talking out of his a$$! -
I'll take a pink one please.
-
I ordered mine yesterday and it was sent yesterday , received my shipment notification from Dell. My Fedex info shows my unit was shipped from TN. I was bummed to see that it was ground shipping and not Next Day which I requested ...Oh well will still have it in a couple days, just not today.
If its only ground shipping for this unit not exactly a true Fast Track 48hr in hand deal.....Still happy to have the unit this week and not in mid July...TN. to Florida, you should have it this week also , congrats...

Pink one LOL!
Girls... it's all yours ^^ -
pink? like as in a pink body? oh man, my manliness just shrivelled up and died
-
I saw that too...I like how it also says i3 technology. Guess the Dell Deals QA people were short staffed that day.
-
i ordered mine 25 hours ago and it still hasnt shipped. anyone else order theres yesterday and not have theirs ship yet?
-
That coupon was for Boeing employees, contractors & family, but was removed due to abuse.
-
Yeah I know.. there's always been randomly a 21% off coupon for the past couple years for Boeing EPP members. My dad works for Boeing.
