    Hello everyone. Just got my m11x r2 and was wondering if the bar that displays the wifi,caps, etc. has a protective film? It kind of looks like it but didnt want to mess any thing up.

    Yes it does. You can take it off. Very shiny if you take it off, or you can leave it on if you don't want to leave finger prints all over it.

    Normally I rip protective film off as soon as I possibly can because it's tacky looking. However, it didn't take but a week or so for my hinge cover to show scratches resulting from a soft microfiber cloth wiping or three. I hate the use of cheap shiny plastics that's so prevalent in /everything/ nowadays.
