I was just about to post an issue i was having trying to get my m11x to display on my external Samsung P2350 monitor. I was using a HDMI to DIVI cable and whilst the monitor was recognizing that the m11x was plugged in (the "check signal cable message disappeared), i could not get the m11x to recognize nor display on the monitor. I looked EVERYWHERE including a few dead threads on this forum looking for an answer to no avail. I did however find a way to get it to work which doesn't make much sense but is very simple so though i would post it for those having similar troubles in the future

Plug the cable into the m11x when it's on and then plug it into the monitor, again when it' already on

So laptop 1st THEN monitor and then magic it works.

Hope this helps even 1 person

I've heard of this technique when using high resolution screens eg. 2560 x 1600 to overcome connection issues.

However, connecting HDMI or DisplayPorts to external 1920 x 1200 monitors on an M11xR1 have not been a problem when selected via screen resolution or Windows+P.
