Techinferno hosts the A05 unlocked bios file. I downloaded one for my old R3 a while ago, and it's a cool little hack to eek out a bit more performance from the BCLK. However, I tried to download the file again a few days ago on my new R3, but it says "you must register". Registered. "you must have 5 posts". Made 6 posts, decent ones, answered a few questions, asked a few, and now I wait for moderators to "approve" my comments as "quality posts" before I can gain clearance to download a file. DIOS MIO, man.

I get trying to monetize your site more (you can purchase instant access to downloads by purchasing a subscription for $5), but cmmon! This model is not conducive to attracting forum members and forum feedback. and I guarantee the guy that made the unlocked bios DGAF if people share and distribute his work. Lame, lame stuff.

In any case, I ask the good ol' NBR board, do any of you have the unlocked R3 A05 bios? It's been brutally difficult to locate online. Thank you in advance, and mods, i'm sorry for venting a bit here....this forum is awesome.

Actually, they care a lot about their hard work being distributed, without something in return, hence the controls on the site . . . send a PM to one of the mods on TI and I am sure they will acknowledge your posts and you will be fine. It is mostly the mods and admins and site owners who create the bios over there (look around for Svl7 and you will see). NBR and TI are both good forums . . . you will find many members on both.
