When going one goes to Dell.com/xbox they'd find the free xbox offer first thing. following the links the only alienware i find is the M14X. but if i start on the first page i can go to an alienware link, which has the m11x among others.

The thing that bothers me is that i'm not entirely sure if this could also include the free xbox. i had a chat a Dell person on their chat system and went something along the lines of:

-Me: is the free xbox offer limited offer limited to the computers listed on: Welcome to Dell University | Dell
-Dell Person: those computers are part of the free xbox offer.
-Me: Does that mean i can't get it with a Alienware M11X?
    -no response-
    -Me: what is "EPP Discount"?
-Dell Person: the free xbox offer is part of the EPP Discount
-Me: So i've configured my M11X with the highest base starting point and it has this "EPP Discount," does that mean i will get the free xbox?
    -no response-

The conversation was not exactly like that, but the point is, i'm VERY sure the person had no idea what they were even talking about, so i'll ask here. I assume the EPP Discount thing is generally a student discount thing and not really the free xbox offer itself, so does anyone know exactly what's going on with this free xbox thing? is there an exact list of all PCs that apply to the offer? or is it more general to those companies participating and: $699+, has windows 7?

They show all the valid PC's on the page. It is for students ONLY and they provide means to validate you. Am I missing something about your question?

I chatted a Dell rep when I bought my R3 and they said it was not a valid machine for the free 360.
