Ok, so when I overclock the memory on my gpu, i can't hit any value between 810 and 832. When using EVGA Precision or MSI, any mem OC value between 810 and 821 gives me 810 while any value between 821 and 832 gives me 832.

Also, when it does switch from 810 to 832, I go from no artifacts to tons of artifacts.

Any ideas why it does this?

No idea what would be causing it but overclocking the GPU in an R1 won't net you too much performance. Depending on the game it could give you a slight performance boost to none at all. Just from personal experience.
