If you don't know what to get, I would start off with the reliable, bang-for-your-buck mice in that price range:
1) Logitech G500
2) Logitech G400
3) Razer DeathAdder
You'll be happy with any of those. And P.S. I would skip wireless mice, unless you have a very specific need for wireless mice. Managing rechargeable batteries is more trouble than it is worth. -
Razer Orochi

logitech g9x, you can find it sometimes online for $50 here and there
otherwise go with logitech, great build quality and comfortable mice
MS sidewinder mice are also not bad either -
And I am really digging that g500 its only 40 on newegg and -10 bucks its 30.... I will go with that one
Thanks guys!
Edit: Take that back.... It needs to be a 50 dollar item for 10 off. But otherwise it looks nice, still goin with the g500will it work with win 7? It says xp and vista. Or not.... it has horrible reviews saying it wont work with win 7. Gonna go razor.

id avoid razer, ive heard nothing but bad reports about how long their mice and keyboards last
you could also try zowie
Newegg.com - ZOWIE GEAR MiCO Black 3 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Optical 1600 dpi e-SPORT 400 / 800 / 1600 Dpi Gaming Mouse
used by StarTale July, he likes it, though i havnt used it myself personally
logitech g400 is win7 compatible
Newegg.com - Logitech G400 Black 8 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Optical 3600 dpi Gaming Mouse
but the g500 works on win7, so long as you dont want to remap any of the thumb buttons, they will work as whatecer you map them to in games though -
And I disagree with TwelveV. You definitely DO want to install Logitech drivers.
You will need Logitech drivers installed to configure your USB polling rate (from 125Hz --> 1000Hz) and adjust your DPI profiles. High USB polling rates and adjustable DPI are the two main reasons why you even want to buy a gaming-grade mouse. Otherwise, your Logitech G500 isn't much better than a $10 mouse from Office Depot. -
I don't need to switch my polling rate, as I don't play FPS or any high-twitch games very often, so the default works just fine for me.
Logitech used to have very bad software/drivers, and since that time, I've just used the default windows mouse drivers, and have had no issues. The G500 works just fine as a gaming mouse (and is a HUGE step up from a generic $10 mouse) without logitech's softwre. -
im fine with the setpoint drivers for my g9x, very useful and simple to use
i do have the dpi settings adjusted, one is for my native res, while the other is for broodwar which only plays in 640x480 -
Gigabyte GM-M8000X
It's a decent all around mouse but has a really good sensor unlike most razer or logi's. -
The Logitech G9X, G500, and G700 all use the Avago 9500 laser sensor. The Avago 9500 is superior to the Avago 6090, due to its higher tracking speed. -
