    I have this game laying around so I was wondering if it is playable without a CD/DVD rom?Is there a no CD hack or has anyone done this and has some useful tips..Thanks.

    Rip the image from the DVD and mount it using Daemon tools. Takes up a lot of space but is more reliable than a fixed exe.

    in a perfect world yes but that doesnt work with all games.

    Really? I never knew that. I would have just assumed that it treated it just like a normal DVD. Of course most of my games now don't require CD's/DVD's so I wouldn't know. LOL.

    If that's the case then I second gamecopyworld.

    thanks to some copy protection just making an image doesnt work more often than not. JUST REMEMBER!! backup your original exe before replacing it in the game folder always rename original as bak to be safe!

    Thanks all..I do know about GCW but I also know GOW was a wierd type game.As long as the No CD .exe works Im cool with that..Thanks all!

    you need to patch the game first because if you don't GFWL thinks it has been hacked.

    I dont have my external DVDrom but I have an external USB HDD..Can I copy the install disk to my HDD and install it to my M11x from there??If so..how?

    Without a modified EXE GoW does need the DVD physically there, a mounted ISO wont do it. This game also takes unbelievably long to load regardless of whether loading from DVD or an ISO on a SSD
