Ok guys, here's another one.
So I've got a 52" Sony Bravia that I hook my lil M11x to to watch movies and whatnot. Problem is; after 10 - 15 the TV screen loses signal and blanks out. At first I thought that it might be my screensaver kicking in but then the TV loses all signal and my TV goes to the menu screen which says "No Signal."
This has been going on for a month now and it's really bugging me. Is this a video driver problem, defective hdmi connection, or what? I'm running the latest Intel HD driver and Nvidia 260.99.

is the settings set to tv main desktop... check your power options.
-
power options are on performance, disabled option to turn off screen when plugged in and screen dim is set to 30 minutes. TV is main screen.
-
is this with the hd graphics settings? or are you using windows7 for controlling the monitors?
-
change when the display is turned off in advanced power options (change everything to never going off) for plugged and unplugged
for me I made a custom power plan just for when I have an external display plugged in so this doesnt happen -
I never had this issue with my Sony Bravia. Only reason Is topped using my m11x is no hardware acceleration from the video card for iTunes.
I always set the "never turn off" when plugged in though so that may be it. -
What drivers are you using? You can set your M11x to use the GPU for iTunes and such either in the nVidia config or from the right click context menu, at least on drivers 256 and up if I recall correctly. I'm on 258.96 and I can run iTunes with the GPU for HD movies when I want to.

i'm using intel HD graphic settings, read in this forum that the intel handles this sort of stuff better than the nvidia

you think you have a headache - my hdmi is flawless on my samsung, but will not work on my philips TV
Just get noise/static. Unfortunately, i want it to work on the philips as it's in another room...

at least you've got two TVs to work with, I've only got one.
