    Hi!

Im using my 24' BENQ external monitor for my m11x, and it has been working great for the past month via HDMI-HDMI.

Now i just got back home and suddenly my computer no longer recognizes the external monitor anymore. There is always a special "Bing"-sound when connecting any hardware to any port, for example the mouse, but now there's nothing... not even a beep..

What's going on? Anyone have any suggestions? It all worked PERFECT yesterday evening, and then i shut my m11x off and woke up and now its not.

    thanks

Check the Intel drivers to see if they picked it up.

Everyone will assume the OP has an M11xR2 unless otherwise stated.

yes its an m11xR2. And no, no drivers picks it up and there is no sound when connecting the HDMI cable.

Nothing is recognized, its like its not plugged in.

i'm not expert but you did your basic troubleshooting testing (restarting your laptop, testing different hdmi cables/different monitors, reinstalling your drivers, running an antivirus scan, checking your settings in your laptop for external connections and solutions)?
