Been using my M11x during DJ'ing, and im wanting to know if i can have each headphone jack audit two separate audio streams.

Im hapily using a pair of cdj400's, and have the laptop built in to use mp3 control through virtial DJ but i want to use the laptop just for throwing in one or two acapella's and leave the sdj400's for beat juggling/mixing etc

    Is this possible???

Otherwise im just going to buy a usb soundcard, which is easy, but it would be nice to find out the M11X has yet another great feature... ya dig?

I think in vdj you can set the outputs to do various things.... but you might have to run 3-4 decks in vdj to get your desired effects.

I dont have my laptop with me so I cant check the settings on vdj.

I don't think you'll be able to 'split' audio on the first and second 3.5mm audio out ports on an M11x.

I have run two 720p DVDs on an M11xR1 with separate audio streams (5.1) on an HDMI and DisplayPort. But on the M11xR1 that's using Nvidia and not Realtek.

The 3.5mm ports are analogue as we know.

You may have better success using the IEEE 1394 port, DP or HDMI...or USB.

As already stated the 3.5mm ports are most probably reliant on the audio application you're running, but I wouldn't hold my breath as the code would have to have 3.5mm analogue drivers to separate the two 3.5mm audio out ports... on a Dell notebook.
