So i've been going all over trying to figure out how to get my steam games to boot with the dedicated card. You need to go into your steapps/common folder and find the .exe for the actual game and add that to your list in optimus. The graphics are finally on for Dirt 2 and Burnout verified by the high framerate and the optimus tool from another thread.

Every game I play in steam works fine without having to go through each exe file. The only thing I come across is when I go to launch a game for the very first time a window will pop up saying steam doesn't recognize the video card I'm using and that the game may not play right. I click don't show again and continue to play with no problems.
