So basically, i can't turn on or off AlienFX using the function, or open the command centre for that matter.

I can of course open CC from the shortcut on the desktop and then procede to change the AlienFX from there, but i would really like for the shortcuts to work.

Has anyone else experience anthing like this; and does anyone know a way to fix it?

    Thanks

Fn-Pause opens the command centre for me (even though I have it disabled on start-up); Fn-Print Screen only works to turn on/off AlienFX if the tray icon is running.

Yeah neither of them are working at all, without or without command centre running.

Gah, might just suck up a restore to factory conditions. At least this way i'll know if it was a fault with the software or the hardware; here's hoping it's the former.

Re-install Command Center, and all the Alienware specific stuff, then try again.

Have you done the AlienFX mod in the optimization? I noticed that will make the button inactive, you have to have the Controller actively running.

Lol this is weird, I got it fixed. I just restored my computer back to factory settings and it worked without downloading any drivers! :)
