Have you recently opened the system to do any work?

When do you see the color cycling, before or after the BIOS (Alien Head)?

Are you overclocking? If so, reset the BIOS to default settings, save and restart.

If still happening, call Support and have them go over the troubleshooting process.

If you keep seeing it at your current OC setting, its time to back down the setting as its not handling it very well. Just keep dropping it down until the system is stable.

You should also try disabling OC and see if the issue continues. If it doesn't, then you know it was the OC.

You can boot to the utility partition to run the diagnostics, or download it from dell to make a bootable cd. That will run a gamut of tests for that might pick something up.

It certainly won't be the end all, but it often flags something before it is too big of an issue.

In the very least it should help in your confidence of the product.

Generally a beep on POST indicates that the RAM needs to be reseated. If it starts beeping again, trying turning it off, unplugging it, turning it over, unscrewing the back, take out and replace the RAM.

    Hope it helps
