    Hi guys,

I got an M11x i3 with 4 GB Ram and the 1 Gig Graphiccard. I want to get a little bit more out of this nice monster, cause I'm a big star wars fan and I wanna play SWTOR. At the beginning the game runs very smooth but after a while it becomes more laggy. Maybe someone can help me.

    Kind regards,

    Noxm

You can Overclock your computer and use throttler Stop to increase your game play or try setting your game graphics on low for better FPS.

i think the only thing you can change is the fsb so the max you will get is possibly 166 x9

Throttle Stop does not actually overclock anything. Yes you can overclock through the bios up to the 166 Mark, but you won't know if it is stable or not till you test it. Your best bet is to avoid overclocking unless you feel comfortable messing with your system and you understand fully what you are doing.

The best bet is to check a couple of things first.

    1) Get Throttlestop ( http://forum.notebookreview.com/har...arket-upgrades/531329-throttlestop-guide.html)

In a simple way the program allows the laptop to stop throttling, giving you peak performance at all times as well as act as a basic temperature guide.

    2) Make sure that the laptop is set to max performance in the power settings. This should be the case, but make sure!

    3) Get the latest drivers from Nvidia. Basic stuff here, just a requirement for me to list in case you have not gotten them yet.

    4) SWTOR seems to have memory leaks in certain areas. Restarting the game at some points when it starts to slow down might help you if this is the case.

But I thought that Throttlestop doesn't work on an i3. Can someone verify this for me please?
I don't wanna up my system.
