I have my computer hooked up to a 1080p samsung and I am trying to play games at lower resolution, ideally 1366 by 768 since I will get much better frame rates at this resolution. The problem is I can only play games at full screen in resolutions of 1080p or 720p every other resolution gives me a small centered screen. My sony laptop with a nivia card will fit the resolution to full screen no matter what resolution I play in. Anyone know a way to do this with the m11x r2?

option is in the Intel control panel.

right click on desktop. Graphics Properties. On the first page that pops up, last option is "Scaling"

I set mine to "mantain aspect ratio"

R2 uses the Intel GPU to drive the displays, while either the Intel GPU or nVidia GPU do the actual rendering.

I would like to give this a try myself. However, the only option I have under "General Settings" and "Scaling" is "Custom Aspect Ratio".

There is no other option to select. Any thoughts?

    Cheers.

Same problem here, although if I disconnect the samsung I get scale to fit panel option, sounds like a driver issue. Every resolution scales to full screen when not using the external display.

    Ah, I see :(

That only shows up if you are using the laptop panel, or are running your panel at nonnative resolution.

I guess set the resolution to 1366.768 in the intel control panel just before launching a game, and set the image scaling then... [I did this for my xbox360, and I eventually ditched my old display over this, unrelated, but it had a brainless 1600x900 resolution that was unsupported ]

Actually I can only adjust image scaling when using the laptop display, as soon as I connect the exernal display there are no options, it just says customize aspect ratio with no selections to click regardless of which resolution I am on.
