Hi guys! I bought a used r1 recently however the motherboard is damaged and needs to be replace. I'm looking for the core 2 duo version with nvidia 335m. Is the right model k1pwv? I saw this one on eBay can I use this? Please let me know, I'm concerned because the listing says it only has Intel integrated. Thanks for your help! :)

That's the right model (part number). My concern is the same as yours. Why don't you try sending a question to the seller?

Since it lists as a new board, it should have the 335m gpu on it.
If it was listed as used and said intel gpu, then I would assume the 335m is dead.

That board will work just fine for you.

I changed the motherboard but the screen is blank. The lights come on. Is there anything I need to do?

Turn the computer over and turn it on, see if the fan kicks on and stays on.

If it fires up, then turns off you may have a dead motherboard.

I opened it up again. It seems the cable for the monitor wasn't in properly.
