My model shipped with the AO3, and in an attempt to get aliensense I accidently went to A02 which is unreliable and crashes often. Dell drivers and downloads doesn't have the AO3 only the AO2, what do I do?

first what M11x do you have the R1 R2 or R3?

That is important because I think that the R3 bios will not work with the R1 or R2...

And talking about the R3 the last Bios release for R3 is A02 so maybe you get and install this... (I dont even know if this is possible to upload a R3 bios in a R1 or R2 system but who know?).

Try to search the dell suport page and look for your model manualy because I have eard that the servicetag sometime gift the wrong model...

Oops forgot to mention, I have an r3, and there is a version AO3 because it prompted me about updating to A02 from A03. I am sure that there is a AO3. Also please read the rest of the thing, I already mentioned that I am using AO2 now.
Also I have already checked drivers and downloads. Thats how I got ed up in the first place.

That´s weird, why would you computer ask you to downgrade from A03 to A02... Anyways, the latest BIOS on dell´s website is A02 if that is not running well, call 1-800-ALIENWARE

No, I listened to a fellow alienware m11x r3 owners advice.
I downgraded by my own willing. I'd rather not call them so what can I do...

There's nothing you can do except wait or call. If its not on the web yet no one will have it as a file.

Unless you want to lose all the alienware package (backgrounds, drivers, hidden partition and command center) DO THAT... (some people don´t mind this tho...)

the best way to restore to FS is to go to the alien respawn hidden icon under notifications on your desktop and look for factory system restore... HOWEVER, I don´t think that´ll have any change on your BIOS... I had A04 installed on my R2. After a MOBO replacement the current BIOS was shown as A00 I pressume the BIOS is "stored" in your MOBO and not your HDD or SSD...

    Keep us posted

Factory restore does nothing. Bios is a hardware firmware. Restore just touches the software.

You're wrong. The only disc that comes with the m11x is a Windows 7 disc.

The disc included with the M11X either R1 R2 or R3 is just a copy of win 7 64bits with a nice sticker...

your best choice is to look for the alien respawn as I suggested before

    I have no backups.
UPDATE: In an attempt to get aliensense I followed instructions that said I should download m15x drivers and go back to m11x drivers. It says im missing a certain file and im stuck with the m15x drivers which won't open/work. But I do have aliense now.. teehee
