Was curious to see if anyone else was dealing with this issue. My m11xr1 after going through last weeks win updates will no longer successfully go into hibernation by itself. I have it set to go to Hibernation after it's been asleep for 4 hours.

example - close lid, 4 hours later go to hibernate.

After this last batch of updates it will come up as incorrectly shut down after a hibernation. If i manually put it into hibernation this issue does not happen.

Is this happening to anyone else?

keeps happening, screwed up my masterboot record. Windows repair is not the proper way to have to start up a system.

/sigh looks like I have to format now.

Also currently on hold with dell tech support to fix my screen/hinge issue. I've never had this many problems with any other laptop before in my life.

The same thing happens to me too. I have uninstalled the gpu drivers and installed them again. Now it seems to work on Intel gpu but crashes if I leave the laptop to sleep/hibernate with nVidia gpu on.

It must be an issue with the graphic adapter drivers. Maybe someone else will come with a solution. Due to this unapropriate shut downs I have already lost a hard drive on another laptop.
