    How do I Install a SSD on a R2??

    So I took apart my M11x r2 to install a G.skill Phoenix Pro 80gb SSD and came across this prob and have no clue what i have to do.. i tried searching the fourms and googling it and came across nothing to explain this. plz help!

    as you can see the two pins are different.. is there a way to install this still??

    On your original WD hard drive there is an adapter that comes off. You can see it in the picture. You take that adapter and put it on your ssd.

    Well, it looks like someone drew on your hard drive with a Sharpie marker. That is definitely unacceptable. I would call Alienware and have them replace it for you.
