Hi,
I know this might sound like a silly question, but there is a sim card inside the sim card slot of the m11x because I ordered it with the GOBI option. I do not see any eject buttons. How do I take it out? Do I just try to somehow grab the edge of the card, or do I push it in and assume there is a spring loaded mechanism that ejects it out?
I just want to insert another sim card in.
Just don't want to break it within the first 5 mins of turning it on..![]()
Thanks

Push it in...
A self destruct sequence may begin and if you can't defuse it the warranty won't cover the damage... -
Fast forward: It worked! thanks! -
Ok, The above worked. But when I tried to re-insert the same sim card into the slot after ejecting it, in the same exact orientation, I get the message "Sim Card not found - check orientation"....
Will just keep trying , hoepfully it's something silly I am not doing right...
Updated:
Did some googling and I solved the error.
The WWAN SIM card may not be inserted while the computer is running. The unit must be turned off to insert or remove the SIM card.
Removing or Inserting the WWAN SIM card when the unit is on can result with the error message “SIM Not Found – Check Orientation.” This message can come up any time after the card has been inserted or removed when the unit is on; however, the message is seen most frequently waking from standby or hibernate.
How do I remove the Sim card that came with the m11x?
