One thing that i am big on is playing arcade games like street fighter through emulators on my computer. I have an r2 expected in the mail next week and i was wondering how optimus behaves with emulators? Does it kick in for them?

Emulators generally use the CPU, not the GPU, which makes Optimus irrelevant. Either way, you can always add the emulator itself to the list to use the 335m and have it "kick in" :)
