I'm thinking of selling My M11X r1 less the HD and it has a busted hing . You can here it creak when you open or close it . Just trying to get an Idea of how much it may be worth .

Doesn't Dell fix hinges AFTER warranties have expired? If so, then I would call them and get that replaced. Doing so will increase the value of your M11X once you're ready to sell it.

If the hinge is fixed with no HD, I would say 400$ OBO without warranty.

If the hinge is damaged with no HD, I would say 300$ OBO without warranty.

It is also important to note that outside the US/Canada, people pay a much higher price for Alienware systems, so if you flagged your listing as "worldwide" (offering it to anyone), then I think you could possibly sell it for a little bit more (maybe 50$+ more).

I've bought 2 SU7300 M11x R1's with 500GB HDD & 8GB RAM for $350, so realistically you're looking at $250 without a HDD and a busted hinge. If the hinge has never been replaced then Dell will replace it for free (depot repair, not in-home) and then you're looking at maybe $300 without the HDD.

Yes overseas they fetch a higher price (more like $500 in Australia for a complete unit), but you're looking at a FedEx or UPS shipping fee of over $170 and most people won't buy used laptops from overseas.
