I'm trying to do a full recovery back to factory settings with windows and everything the way it came ..since i installed Windows 7 32bit over it.

I see the Recovery partition in My Computer, but it's empty. I tried pressing F8 during boot up but there is no effect. What do I do? I don't want to use the Windows 7 DVD it came with. I want it back the way i bought it.

I read that i'd have to use ImageX and PE Building or something, but does anyone have any directions on where to get these tools or how to use it?

As far as I know that since you installed an OS over the factory image you have lost access to the recovery partition. Just do a clean install with the new drivers and revel in the bliss of a non bloated OS. Then you can reclaim the space used by the recovery partition.
