    I have a M11xR2

when I play game that don't support widescreen such as plant vs zombies it will have two black sidebars on both side. How could I adjust to make it in to full widescreen?

See if there are graphics settings in the game that allow widescreen. If not, then no (it's just what the game designer chose).

But I think you can set the in game settings to use the entire screen :)

I chose the fullscreen option in game (with non widescreen resolution), but it still have the sidebar. Guess there no way I could set it than?

It´s also the computer, I have Star Wars KOTOR, and in my Dell Inspiron, it plays Widescreen (stretched, since the game does not support native widescreen) but in my m11x I can´t play it in stretched widescreen...

And I still can´t find a way to do it, if my old Laptop can, why this can´t...

There are 2 kinds of widescreen ratios: 16:10, and 16:9. Older games will support 4:3 perfectly, and maybe 16:10, but I've yet to come across one of my class games that supports 16:9. 16:9 is "true" widescreen.

    Hi

    Try this

WSGF Hacks for SW:KOTOR - WSGFWiki

I found it worked but the game tends to be a little unstable and can crash every now and then.
You do miss a tiny portion of the bottom of the screen as you cant get the exact res but the bit missing is not vital to gameplay.

I get the two black bars when I accidentally forget to switch to the nVidia card when a game launches. This is also on the R1, I might add.

Just a note, on the R2, the scaling is set via the Intel IGP control panel, too (if not set ingame).

isnt there a way to modify the command line in the shortcut to force a game to go to a certain resolution? not too sure I did it a long time ago. but I assume that just cuts off the bottom and top...

I just try to force the scaling to full screen via intal control panel, but it will jump back to Maintain aspect ratio automatically....
