    Hey guys,

Finally got my m11x r1 today :D. Its pretty sweet so far, but I have a question.
I set it up in advanced power setting to turn off alienwarefx on battery and turn it on when plugged in but that doesnt seem to effect it at all. I can right click on the icon in the notification area and tell it to go dark but isnt there a way to make it automatic?

    Thanks for the help!

Make sure you've saved the changes to the AlienFX theme after you've made changes. Give it a unique name too.

If all else fails, just hit Fn + Prt Scrn.

AlienFX draws about 1 to 1.5 Watts. No much much, but it can cost you thirty minutes of battery life.

There was a thread awhile back where it was revealed the Alienware lights option in Advanced Power Settings of the power plans does nothing, so you'll have to do it from within AlienFX (or use Alienfx Lite) if you don't want to use the key combo each time.
