I turn on my graphics card, and turn on Bioshock, I have version 1.1 and the latest nvidia graphics driver. But I cannot get the game to load. It stays at the loading screen for like 5 minutes and freezing.

Do I need to overclock my cpu or what?

Bioshock doesn't need the CPU or GPU to be overclocked. It's been confirmed to run well on both the R1 and R2. Need more information from you in order to suggest things to troubleshoot.

    R1? R2?
    Exact 335 driver version?
    Steam or standalone?
    Boxers? Briefs?

I've got the same problem on both my m11x and my desktop so I don't think it's isolated to the m11x. I just gave up and resigned myself that it was $2 spent on a buggy game.

That's strange. I played both 1 and 2 on my R2 and they ran beautifully. That would have been around the time that the 258.99 driver (Nautis/Kopicha modded .inf) was the latest I think.

Is your copy from steam? I remember there being some sort of audio driver issue with Bioshock, do you hear crackling noises during the loading screen?

I had some issues with Bioshock running until I installed the latest DirectX kit from Microsoft. In otherwords with a clean format of Windows 7 and the lastest Verde drivers on the R2 it wouldnt run. The game runs fine for me now at 1920x1080 on a LCD with all the graphic options on.

Do you have your video card turned on? When I play Portal with the intel graphics cards it takes a lot to load.
