I was at the airport the other day and put my m11x in my case with my Astro a30 headsets plugged in and somehow it slipped off my leg. I caught the wire from instinct and the plug on my headphone tore off. the headphone jack is pretty messed up, but it does work if I hold the headphone plug into the jack

is there someway to fix this? and is it covered by the warranty? thannks

It depends entirely on whether you purchased an accidental damage warranty with your system. Check your paperwork, if this is the case, call alienware and they'll get it fixed somehow. If not, then there's nothing you can do.

If you purchased a system with Advanced Protection, then you are covered. That warranty level covers accidental damage. If you only have the basic / standard warranty package, then you are not covered. You will need to pay for repairs out-of-pocket to get it fixed.

As a reminder to all, fraud is not tolerated here on NBR. NBR has a very strict policy towards this.

it will probably require mobo change, so if you don't have complete care, you will probably have to wait until it requires mobo change.
