I opened up and dusted my R1's chassis, and when I tried to turn it on, it refused to post, with the LED lights on. I eventually tried removing the CMOS, and HDD, then put them back in. After reassembling it, I got 5 quick error beeps. I turned it off, and 5 minutes later it booted up fine. Now, it seems the nVidia card is no longer detected, the date and time settings are wrong, and the internet is working strangely.

I was simply expecting the BIOS to be set back to stock, but I have no idea what else may have happened. I'm reinstalling the dell.com video drivers, followed by the latest on from nVidia's site. Can anyone let me know what else I have to do to get my R1 back to normal?

BIOS needs to be set - The internal clock has to be set properly (it would have reset to 00:00:00 when you took the coin battery out), and you probably need to change your discrete GPU settings in the BIOS.

Also the 5 beeps is a CMOS battery failure, so make sure it was put in the right way around and try re-seating it, if it still beeps then try replacing it.

I agree, double check the CMOS battery, then go to the BIOS and try loading defaults. Set the time and make sure NIC and graphics are enabled. Here's a list for all the drivers and the correct order to install them.
