Hello great people of this forum! I was wondering, what are some tips for increasing my 3DMark06 score? My friend who has a Acer Aspire 5745g has a 7014 score, and I get a measly 5900+ or 6300-. I want to get a higher score then him, he has a nVidia 330M (less CUBA shaders then 335M.) and a i7 620m something. Anyway to pwn his score? Rep+ for any genius who gives me tips.

Overclock to 3Ghz and apply those clocks in your sig. That should get you well over 9000.

im very surprized with that overclock you cant achieve over 7k. my gpu overclocked in my signature, and processor at 1.6 i can get (newest score) over 7.1k

Anyway the OP question is best asked in the benchmark thread.

But I'm confused by what you said here:

If you think 704mhz is going to be stable I would have done it long ago. Plus gpu ocing isn't going to get you anywhere. 3DMark06 is cpu dependant. Best way to increase your score is going to be upping the cpu speed. Temps shouldn't be an issue in the M11x unless your playing with voltage.

Buy an M15x or wait for an M11xR3.

wait for m14x
