    Guys, in intel drivers we can see this option:

    what's the point? does it work? tried full power saving and power saving off, absolutely no difference.

    Just put it on best power savings. At least there's the potential of longer battery life.

    So theoretically, if one put the brightness down to sub-lowness, set Intel graphics to power saving mode, killed the LED, used only the touchpad with no external devices, and used the laptop in a perfectly climate-controlled clean room, you could get like...what? 9-10 hours battery life? ;)
