I have been downloading all new drivers because I have done a fresh installation of win7 on my new ssd. I have followed the guide
HOW TO: Clean Windows 7 Install (Driver Install Order) Guide for Alienware Systems
and I have been still having problems with the wireless internet. I am unable to connect to my router because i am guessing I dont have the driver to do so. I have downloaded all of the other drivers from the dell Drivers and download page but one the Intel Intel(R) WiFi Link 6200 I dont know if this is the problem but its the only that did not download. I dont know if the other network driver are not working but when I try to install the Intel Intel(R) WiFi Link 6200 driver its says error because I do not have the software to do so.

    PLease help Thanks

Can you check which WiFi card you're using?

The M11x R2 comes stock with the Dell Wireless WLAN 1520 Half MiniCard. You really should check your system specs. Installing every driver you see could cause driver conflicts.

Do I delete them and sorry if this sound stupid how would I do this would i go to the file and do it because when I have tried to download the driver WLAN 1520 half minicard my wireless still does not work i think its because of the driver that's not suppose to be there. Thank for your time.

Control Panel -> Uninstall a Program.

Uninstall all the wireless card drivers there (everything, including Dell and Intel and Killer wireless drivers). Reboot then reinstall only the Dell drivers.

maybe this is the problem I have tried to download both of the drivers and both of them do not show up and I have tried to do uninstall them which is why i asked work to do so. Should I use drive sweeper and uninstall them that way or go to the dell folder and then driver and delete them that way?

I had this EXACT same problem about a month ago. Try downloading an older version of the intel 1520 half mini wireless card.

Drivers and Downloads | Dell [United States]

    Best of luck!

    Here's some instructions:

    Directions to install:

    1. Download driver to desktop

    2. Run driver's .exe (R270598.exe) - this will extract all driver files to C:\Dell\Drivers\R270598

    3. After the .exe finishes extracting driver files, it will attempt the install and a failure message will be displayed. This is ok - proceed to step 4.

    4. Go to Device Manager

    5. Open up the Network Adapters tree of Device Manager and find your 'DW1520 Wireless-N WLAN Half-Mini Card' entry. Double click on it and choose the 'Driver' tab.

    6. Choose Update Driver ----> Browse my computer for driver software

    7. Type the following in the Browse to field:
    "C:\dell\drivers\R270598\DRIVER_US"

    8. Click next - Windows will now update your wireless driver using the specified files.

All credit for that goes to Batboy.

If that doesn't work, let me know.

Indexing issue? Refresh the folder view. Default location is the downloads folder in your profile. You can also open your recent downloads list in browser and get it direct that way.

The 5th step where it saying "DW1520 Wireless-N WLAN Half-Mini Card" and that you should find it is wrong it does not show so i just skip that part... it was pretty easy..lol
