I'm going to go with no. If this was possible then we would already be using the power of our older computers instead of throwing them at the homeless.

With a manual offload it can make some difference, so run your browser, email, IM etc on your phone and keep the laptop clean for gaming :)

This also works with older PCs :)

LOL! I doubt it. :) But, you can use your phone for other fun utilities. I have had lots of fun installing interesting bluetooth programs.

I used a program called SallingClicker, which basically turns your phone into a remote for your pc. Watch movies, browse movies and full music remote from your bed. :) +1 for human laziness.

Another program that was quite fun was Blue Proximity. I used the Windows version, and basically it recognizes the MAC address of your phone, and when you move away from your computer it locks it up. :) I havent figures it out how to make it log back in; but on the Ubuntu version it logs you back in as well. Its still has some teething issues (pun intended :/); specifically when you leave the range, and your phone tries to reconnect to your pc's bluetooth. But still fun to play around with.

My fun fact for the day... :)
