I think there's another optimus issue??
The pages don't work unless I turn the hardware acceleration off......

Mmm I dont know if its related but firefox 4 wont work with hardware acceleration if its using the nvidia gpu.

It would be nice if someone with an R1 could test it to see if its the gpu / driver or if its optimus.

btw try to force it to use the intel gpu, It worked for me in firefox 4

I'm loving IE9 on my alienware. Its almost twice as fast as IE8 (speeds comparable to chrome and the like), and it has a cleaner interface than chrome/firefox. Not as customizable though, but that is OK with me. I think it blends in much better with the windows 7 environment.

I've had IE9 preview on my M11xR1 since day one.

    Downloaded IE9 beta....64bit.

Knowing that Adobe doesn't support 64bit flash player I just thought I'd check Adobe anyway.

Well smack my poodle and gag me with a spoon, Adobe does have 64bit flash player. It's beta too, but what the heck.

It's noted as Flash player "Square" 10.2.161

The following link provides access to the 64bit beta version of flash player for IE9 beta.

    http://download.macromedia.com/pub/labs/flashplayer10/flashplayer_square_p1_64bit_activex_091510.exe

For a list of other 32bit and 64bit v10.2 beta flash players on a range of browsers see the following link:

    http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer10.html

IE9 seems responsive but haven't done any testing with IE9 64bit beta on ye olde M11xR1.
