    Is M11x R3 still relevant?

    I am looking at swapping my w110er for my brothers m11x R3 i7 2GB 540M GPU, I would just like to know if it will justify the swap.

    I will mainly use it for a bit of hashing stuff, coding, and a bit of gaming (perhaps Diablo 3)?

    Is that sufficient enough?

    PS. My Clevo w110ER is an i3 8GB RAM, I am just a bit off by the lack of backlit keyboard, I know I can upgrade my w110er to i7 and a 16GB RAM, but since I am not gaming, will the m11x r3 suffice my needs? I am focused on 11inch laptops only.

    You can opt for the luminous keyboard stickers in lieu of the backlit ones for your w110er.

    Thanks for the replies! How customizable is the m11x r3? Apart from HD and RAM? what else can be done or upgrade on this mini beast?

    Does its 540M GPU always has 2GB framebuffer? How to check for this? I still can't send PM's as I am only new to this forum. Thanks!
