I really want a small gaming computer to compliment my 5310m. Someone on kijji is selling a mint R2 m11c 4 months old i7,4gb ram,335m but has no hard drive. Hes agreed to sell it for 950 Canadian. Is this a good deal and also how do i check to see that everything works?

the lowest price I saw on dell.ca was 1049 CAD for a new m11x with i7, 4gb ram, and 500gb HDD.
There is also a promote sale now for 5% off ==> 1135ish before tax

the installation disk doesn't matter that much since all the driver are online and you can easily find a win7 disk image to perform a clean installation

basically you can't test anything before you got the system installed... which takes couple hrs.

my suggestion - just buy a new one.......

    Definitely not worth it.
Plus it's USED and he's almost selling it for 1k.
You can pretty much get similar specs for a bit over 1k ALONG with a hard drive.

I ended up spending roughly 1200 on my m11x from the Dell Canada site, unfortunately everything is marked up on it, though I did manage to get the i7 upgrade for free.
